Das richtige Flash kommt aufs Handy
Bis Ende des Jahres soll es eine Flashversion für Smartphones geben, die dieselben Flash-Anwendungen nutzen kann wie auf einem Desktoprechner. Derzeit gibt es für Handys nur eine abgespeckte Version.
Die Entwicklung des Flash Player 10 für Smartphones wird vom Open Screen Project koordiniert, dem neben dem Flash-Entwickler Adobe auch zahlreiche Handy-Hersteller angehören.
Auch der Palm Pre wird Flash erhaltenNeu hinzugekommen ist jetzt auch Palm. Neben Google Android, Symbian S60 und Windows Mobile wird es das richtige Flash deshalb auch auf dem Palm Pre mit webOS geben.
Palm Pre mit HSDPA vorgestellt
Dort kann man dann Flash-Inhalte nicht nur im Browser nutzen. WebOS-Entwickler werden auch die Möglichkeit haben, eigenständige Flash-Anwendungen für den Palm Pre zu schaffen.
Der Palm Pre wird in Kürze in den USA erscheinen. Im Rahmen des Mobile World Congress wurde auch eine europäische Version des Palm Pre vorgestellt, der HSDPA mit 3,6 Mbit/s und EDGE nutzt.
Präsentiert wurde der Palm Pre mit einer SIM-Karte von Vodafone Spanien. Man geht daher jetzt davon aus, dass der Palm Pre in Europa ab Sommer exklusiv von Vodafone verkauft werden wird.
Flash Lite 3.1 Distributable Player
Auf Flash wird man daher beim Palm Pre für einige Monate verzichten müssen, bis der Flash Player 10 fertiggestellt wurde.
Adobe hat für Smartphones mit Symbian S60 oder Windows Mobile auch eine Betaversion des Flash Lite 3.1 Distributable Player vorgestellt.
