Österreich: iPhone-Tarife ohne Daten-Staffelung
Seit heute kann man auch in Österreich das iPhone kaufen. Wie berichtet gibt es exklusiv bei T-Mobile Austria die 8-GB-Variante für 399 und die 16-GB-Version für 499 Euro. Soviel kostet das iPhone auch in Deutschland. Die Überraschung sind jedoch die iPhone-Tarife. Sie unterscheiden sich in wesentlichen Punkten.
WLAN am besten abschaltenWie auch in Deutschland gibt es das iPhone in Österreich nur mit einem iPhone-Tarif. Diesen wiederum gibt es nicht ohne das iPhone. Die SIM-Karte lässt sich aber dennoch mit diesem Tarif auch in anderen Geräten nutzen. Statt der Complete-Tarife gibt es in Österreich einen Classic- und einen Supreme-Tarif.
Dies ist die zweite Überraschung: Beide Tarife enthalten das gleiche Datenvolumen. In Deutschland sind die Tarife nach Inklusivminuten, Inklusiv-SMS und Inklusiv-Datenmengen gestaffelt. Sowohl im Classic- als auch im Supreme-Tarif erhält man drei Gigabyte Daten - nutzbar über EDGE oder GPRS. Jedes weitere Gigabyte kostet günstige 10 Cent.
33 und 55 Euro für die Grundgebühr
Die 165 WLAN-Hotspots von T-Mobile lassen sich ohne Zusatzkosten mitnutzen. Viele sind das nicht. Statt in Cafés und Restaurants finden sich diese auch eher in Hotels. In der Praxis wird man meist mit EDGE vorlieb nehmen müssen. Hier könnte auch der Grund liegen, dass die Gründgebühr niedriger ausfällt als in Deutschland.
Der Classic-Tarif kostet monatlich 39 Euro. Dafür gibt es 1.000 Freiminuten in alle österreichischen Netze. Jede weitere Gesprächsminute kostet 25 Ct/min, das Abrufen der Mailbox 15 Ct/min. Die SMS innerhalb von Österreich wird mit 25 Cent berechnet. Geht diese ins Ausland, kostet sie 30 Cent.
Beim Supreme-Tarif muss man bereits 55 Euro pro Monat zahlen. Dafür gibt es 1.000 Freiminuten jeweils für netzinterne Gespräche, für Telefonate ins österreichische Festnetz, für Anrufe auf Handys anderer Netze sowie für den Abruf der Mailbox. 1000 Frei-SMS gibt es oben drauf. Im realen Leben wird es ein solches Nutzungsprofil allerdings unwahrscheinlich sein.
Zusätzlich wird eine Einrichtungsgebühr von 49 Euro berechnet, die den Anschaffungspreis im Vergleich mit einem deuschen iPhone merkbar erhöht.
