HTC Desire HD: Downloads mit 14,4 Mbit/s
Ein neues Spitzenmodell hat HTC heute vorgestellt. Das HTC Desire HD hat einen 4,3 Zoll großen Bildschirm, ist aus einem Block Aluminium gefräst, läuft unter Android 2.2 Froyo und kann Daten mit bis zu 14,4 Mbit/s herunterladen.
Beim 4,3 Zoll großen Touchscreen handelt es sich um einen Super-LCD-Bildschirm. HTC setzt diesen bereits in anderen Smartphones ein, da die AMOLED-Displays weltweit knapp geworden sind. Die Auflösung beträgt 800 x 480 Bildpunkte.

Das HTC Desire HD misst 12,3 x 6,8 x 1,2 cm und wiegt 164 Gramm. Das Gehäuse wird aus einem Aluminiumblock gefräst.
Snapdragon mit 1 GHz
Im Inneren steckt ein Snapdragon-Prozessor von Qualcomm, der mit 1 GHz getaktet ist, ergänzt durch einen 768 MB großen Arbeitsspeicher. Der innere Speicher fasst 1,5 GB und kann über eine Micro-SD-Karte um bis zu 32 GB erweitert werden.
Daten kann das HTC Desire HD über HSDPA mit bis zu 14,4 Mbit/s herunterladen und über HSUPA mit bis zu 5,76 Mbit/s verschicken. Alternativ kann man auch über WLAN b/g/n online gehen.
599 Euro für das Spitzenmodell
Hinzu kommen die üblichen Sensoren, ein A-GPS-Empfänger, eine 8-Megapixel-Kamera mit zweifachen Blitz, die auch HD-Videos mit 720p aufnehmen kann, sowie Dolby Mobile und SRS Virtual Audio.
Das HTC Desire HD ist das Spitzenmodell mit Android 2.2 Froyo im fast schon klassischen Nur-Touchscreen-Format. Es soll bereits im Oktober erscheinen und ohne Vertrag 599 Euro kosten.
