iPhone 3GS: Simyo ermöglicht Ratenzahlung
Schon seit einiger Zeit bietet der Mobilfunk-Discounter Simyo das iPhone 3GS an - über seinen Partner Retailkeyshop. Dort erhält man das Gerät jetzt auch mit Ratenzahlung.
Das iPhone 3GS mit einem 16 GB großen Speicher kostet 649 Euro, die Variante mit 32 GB 749 Euro. Bei einer Zahlung in 24 Raten werden monatlich 29,79 Euro bzw. 34,38 Euro fällig.

Der Kreditgeber verdient natürlich auch daran. Per Ratenzahlung kommt man beim iPhone 3GS 16 GB auf 714,96 Euro, beim iPhone 3GS sogar auf 825,12 Euro.
Ein Gigabyte für 9,90 Euro
Interessant ist der Vergleich mit den Tarifen von T-Mobile. Simyo empfiehlt den eigenen Tarif "Simyo Daten-1GB" mit einem Datenvolumen von 1 GB, das man für 9,90 Euro innerhalb von 30 Tagen nutzen kann.
Wenn man sich für diese Kombination entscheidet, zahlt man 39,69 Euro bzw. 44,28 Euro pro Monat. Bei T-Mobile erhält man für 44,95 Euro den Tarif Complete S. Dort muss man allerdings noch 99,95 Euro für das iPhone 3GS 16 GB zahlen oder 219,95 Euro für die Variante mit 32 GB.
Die laufenden Kosten lassen sich aber nur schlecht vergleichen. T-Mobile bietet in diesem Tarif einige Inklusivleistungen wie eine Telefon-Flatrate ins Festnetz oder ins Netz von T-Mobile sowie eine Daten-Flatrate.
Interessant für Wenigtelefonierer
Bei Simyo muss man die Telefonkosten extra zahlen. Dort werden 9 Cent pro Gesprächsminute und pro SMS berechnet. Wer mit dem iPhone viel im Internet unterwegs ist und wenig telefoniert, fährt mit Simyo günstiger.
Ein großer Nachteil ist allerdings das Netz. Während T-Mobile Downloads mit bis zu 7,2 Mbit/s ermöglicht, schafft E-Plus über UMTS gerade mal 384 kbit/s. HSDPA ist bei E-Plus die Ausnahme.

It is funny how we can gloss over the details and see only a Linux reutrn rate. Maybe the Linux notebooks were cheaper and folks were looking for a bargain on a MS notebook. Much like the news that eeePC notebook buyers were removing Linux to install XP. The noise of a few reutrns insinuates there is a broad Linux quality problem rather than a computer buyer choosing poorly or differently.Today's Linux is as easy to use as any MS or Mac. And a pre-installed Linux usually means that all the problems associated with do-it-yourself installs have been satisfied. Maybe when the PC world is equalized between MS, Mac and Linux the Linux not ready yet mantra will go away. So far Linux has proved it's not fodder for Sharper Image nor for Wal-Mart. I guess the Linux computer will never be an appliance or a typewriter. And I guess people will have to resign to actually looking at what they are buying and be forced to choose. The tech savvy don't have this problem.What's cool is that there are white box laptops that can be pieced together like desktops. For the same price as a mid-priced laptop, you can build a laptop with better specs, then install Linux on it. Same bucks, a little green energy, more bang.
