Aldi: UMTS-Flatrates zum Discount-Preis

Immer neue Daten-Flatrates für Laptop und Netbook erblicken das Licht der Welt. Seit heute gibt es auch zwei Daten-Tarife von Aldi. Sie unterbieten andere Angebote im Preis, leisten allerdings auch nicht soviel.

Zur Auswahl stehen eine Tages-Flatrate für 1,99 Euro und eine Monats-Flatrate für 14,99 Euro. Genau genommen ist die Tages-Flatrate jedoch eine 24-Stunden-Flatrate. Wenn man online geht, hat man 24 Stunden Zeit. Bei anderen Anbieter, reicht die Tages-Flatrate bloß bis Mitternacht.

Die Daten-Flatrates von Aldi lassen sich nur mit diesem Webstick nutzen
Aldi Talk von Medion Mobile nutzt das Netz von E-Plus, in dem Downloads mit maximal 384 kbit/s möglich sind. Daten-Flatrates in den Netzen von T-Mobile, Vodafone und O2 können dagegen Daten mit bis zu 7,2 Mbit/s auf den Laptop laden.

30 Tage surfen für 14,99 Euro

Ab einem Datenverbrauch von 1 GB wird bei der Tages-Flatrate die Geschwindigkeit auf 56 kbit/s gedrosselt. Medion Mobile rechnet dabei in günstigen Blöcken zu 10 Kilobyte.

Bei der Monats-Flatrate handelt es sich um eine 30-Tage-Flatrate, die sich automatisch um 30 Tage verlängert, wenn man nicht rechtzeitig gekündigt und ausreichend Guthaben auf dem Konto hat.

Hier wird nach einem Datenverbrauch von 5 GB auf 56 kbit/s gedrosselt. Die 5 GB werden aber nicht pro Aktivierungszeitraum, sondern pro Kalendermonat gemessen.

Modem-Stick für 59,99 Euro

Die Daten-Flatrates von Aldi Talk sind als Option zu einer bestehenden Prepaidkarte gedacht. Diese muss man dann in den Medion Mobile-Web-Stick legen, den Aldi für 59,99 Euro verkauft.

Die UMTS-Flatrates von Aldi lassen sich nur mit diesem Datenmodem nutzen, da dieser auf dem Laptop eine Software installiert, über die man den gewünschten Datentarif wählen kann: die Tages- oder die Monats-Flatrate.

Wer seine SIM-Karte lieber im Handy stecken lassen möchte, um telefonisch erreichbar zu bleiben, kann auch für 12,99 Euro ein zweites Startset mit SIM-Karte und 10 Euro Startguthaben erwerben.

Gday mate quick question from a n00b we build silmpe WP sites for small business in Australia and we're looking to add an ecom string to our bow. They show up in the admin and I'm adding the flat rate shipping but when I calculate the shipping rates from the front end they do not come up. I was wondering if I have the country codes right example ca-bc. Where did you find the codes that wp-ecomcerce is using for its variables? Hey Mark, you're spot on. Each time you upgrade a clniet's WP E-Commerce you'll need to bring across the hack/changes.Assuming you've got a file/folder comparison application you can merge the changes between your existing code and the latest release of WP E-Commerce. I use Beyond Compare 3.
