iPhone: Nimbuzz-Anrufe auch über UMTS

Apple erlaubt keine Voice-over-IP-Gespräche über das Mobilfunknetz. Ein Multi-Messenger nach dem anderen bietet deshalb nun lokale Einwahlnummern an. Erst ab dort werden die Gespräche dann über VoIP geführt.

Dial-Up VoIP nennt Nimbuzz diese Funktion. Der Nutzer zahlt bloß die Gebühr für ein nationales Gespräch. Wenn er eine Festnetz-Flatrate oder genug Inklusivminuten hat, dann ist das Gespräch sogar kostenlos.

Über WLAN sind VoIP-Telefonate schon von Beginn an möglich gewesen. Über Nimbuzz ließen sich allerdings bloß gespeicherte Kontakte über die jeweiligen Chat-Netzwerke anrufen.

Über Skype-Out jede Nummer anrufen

In der neuen Version für das iPhone, die ab sofort im iTunes App Store erhältlich ist, hat Nimbuzz nun ein Tastenfeld hinzugefügt, über das man jede beliebige Nummer wählen kann.

Voraussetzung dafür ist ein Skype-Out-Konto oder das eines VoIP-Providers. Dort werden dann entsprechende Gebühren berechnet. Genutzt werden kann diese Funktion allerdings nur in WLAN-Netzen.

Ebenfalls neu ist die Möglichkeit Nachrichten über Twitter zu versenden.

Anonymous - IT WORK! But VOIP over IP with JUSTVOIP is connecting now after it has been boclked since one week. PROBLEM is that the call quality is so bad that the receiver cant hear me properlay, often they here only noise, no proper voice.WHAT WOULD HELP?? Increase the DSL bandwidth? I have 1MB.IS ther eany other VOIP program that is not getting to be boclked, due better usage of technology, like using diffrent IPs for server communication, so that it can't get blockes by the ISP????Please help all of us!

theres a problem. If i dettcivaae the hotspot i can log again. I know that the voice chat works on my laptop as i tried it in the UK Do you have anyidea of a solution to this. One strange thing is I also tried the OSgrid. I couldnt log in to it at home but if i activate hotspot i can log on to it strange but true Its a mystery and id me grateful of a solution
