Preiskampf: RTLmobil folgt Bild mobil

So schnell geht das. Über simyo & Co, die Mobilfunk-Discounter im E-Plus-Netz, redet keiner mehr. Jetzt liefern sich Bild mobil und RTLmobil eine Preisschlacht. Wurde heute erst von Bild mobil der Preis für eine Gesprächsminute von 10 auf 9 Cent gesenkt, so kündigt RTLmobil umgehend an nachzuziehen.

Dabei ist das Angebot von RTLmobil erst zwei Wochen alt. Ein Termin für die Preissenkung steht aber auch noch nicht fest. Beide Medienhäuser nutzen für ihr Prepaid-Angebot ein ähnliches Konzpept. Die Gesprächsminute mit jetzt bzw. bald 9 Cent ist günstig, die SMS mit 14 Cent jedoch nicht.

Was ist attraktiver? Das Mobilportal oder der Preis?
Allerdings erhält man einen kostenfreien Zugang zum eigenen mobilen Portal und damit auch zu zahlreichen Medieninhalten. Wer sonst das Internet nutzt, zahlt akzeptable 35 Cent pro Megabyte.

Die attraktiveren Inhalte

Robert Fahle, Leiter Mobile bei RTL interactive: "Wenn ein Mitbewerber jetzt so kurz nach Start unseres Angebots seinen Telefonie-Preis um einen Cent senkt, werten wir das als Kompliment und Bestätigung der Attraktivität unserer Inhalte."

RTLmobil nutzt das Netz von T-Mobile, Bild mobil das von Vodafone. Ebay bietet eine Prepaidkarte an, die nach ähnlichem Muster gestrickt ist. Es ist damit zu rechnen, dass auch hier bald der Preis für die Gesprächsminute gesenkt wird.

I need to have two scrollers on the same page. So i've ceipod the line as suggested earlier in this blog. The line i cut and paste isvar hor = new Ticker('TickerVertical', { speed : 500, delay : 5000, direction : 'vertical'});That did not work. So I gave the new one a new name as 'TickerVertical2'with rest being the same.var hor = new Ticker('TickerVertical2', { speed : 500, delay : 5000, direction : 'vertical'});This worked in getting both scrollers scrolling. Now the controls do not seem to work properly. When I click 'stop' for the top control, the scrolling does not stop, instead the bottom one stops and does not start after that at all. Top one continuosly scrolls. Any suggestions on a fix ?

I came about your blog just by chance... this has been beettr explained. I have spent considerable time on the original script but yours worked immediately.I was able to tweak the mysql a bit for my needs. I have set it to show summary photo title and date with a order by recent date and limited to 4 results. The images are not showing yet but i can use it with out the images. I am using this on a test box running centos.Just testing at the moment I will forward link soon as I load on client site.Thanks for your post very helpful!!!
